Beautiful, eclectic, hidden gem in the heart of Puerta Vallarta!

The location in Puerta Vallarta is amazing, right near the Romantic Zone but still far enough away to be quiet, it is right beside a small river and island. The hotel is great, especially if you love eclectic things, which I know I do. It has two pools and one hot tub, and you can get breakfast included for a small price (we did not have this, however we heard positive things!) We went swimming in the rooftop pool which was very warm for a slightly breezy day in Mexico, and went in the hot tub later. The service staff were all very attentive and helpful and we had a great check in experience, we were given free drink vouchers for the rooftop bar which was a wonderful welcome :)

My only complaint would be that there was not as much hot water as we (mostly I) would have liked. We had booked our stay because of the bathtub and I know I really looked forward to using it. We spent most of our vacation saving money at Airbnb's and had previously had no hot water, so it was disappointing to see that, while there was plenty for a shower, it did not fill up the bath as much as I would have liked. We also planned on going to the hot tub earlier but it was a bit chilly and were told that it did not heat up until after around 6pm, which was ok, it would have been nice to have known that from the beginning.

Unique.

There is a lovely infinity lap pool on the roof with a glorious view. It is in a quaint area, very walkable, lively, convenient. Friendly place and staff. Decor is unique— gives you the sense of glamorous old PV. Recommended for someone who values charm over state-of-the-art conveniences like outlets everywhere and great showers. There is an elevator that works perfectly. A very memorable place to stay.

I wish they offered a room or two with two beds appropriate for two friends to share.

Treated like Kings. Cozy and Comfortable.

I highly recommend staying here. We upgraded to a room called ‘Jocelyn’ and it was an absolutely beautiful view over looking the river valley. The room was bright and had a little fridge. The staff were fantastic! We were greeted with a margarita and fresh pico de gallo with nachos. The location was located just a little away from the hustle and bustle of the beach front and was very quiet. I especially missed being served Mezcalitas by Jesus on the rooftop patio and pool. We were served a nice breakfast each morning while we chatted over our ideas for the day. If you are looking for a quaint boutique hotel experience this is the place!

Perfect in all the right ways

The location of the hotel is perfect! Walks to the beach and boardwalk were quick. Views from the rooftop were amazing. The staff was fantastic. My next visit to PV will likely include staying here. Ivan and staff were excellent hosts.

The occasional barking symphony, but the hotel isn't at fault for that. Besides, the bed was so comfortable that I slept through it most of the time. I could probably hear it more than other rooms because of the thatched roof. This, however, will not deter me from staying again.

Amazing value for the money, great location, friendly staff

The Candelaria Suite was amazing! Two floors, private patio, and amazing furnishings. The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta!

Excellent value. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in finding us close by restaurants.

Location of the breakfast tables against the window and the balcony table was good. But inner tables were dark and very drafty from being next to thee atrium. Quality of breakfast could be improved a little. Fruit plate and orange juice was exceptional. We asked for fried eggs, but they kept arriving as poached eggs. Otherwise good.

It was cool out, and we wanted to use the spa/hot tub, but it wasn't hot enough. Could you raise the temperature of the spa?

Beautiful, elegant hotel with luxurious suites. Private rear entrance to the Carlotta Suite as we had our dog with us. Beautiful roof top pool and bar with great views. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Beautiful, pricy, issues with the shower functionality, bad greasy breakfast. You decide.

It’s stone cold gorgeous. if you’re not staying there, I would put it on my sightseeing tour. There’s a duck pond, in the dining room, with ducks. My room, the pant towels, had spectacular views, and balconies on other side of the hotel room. You can hear the river all day and all night. It’s delightful.

I didn’t always have hot water in the shower which, when you’re paying USD $$600 a night, you expect that the plumbing will be working swell. I was very excited that there was a hot tub, or a spa Jacuzzi in my room. That required that you run the water for a half an hour, then check on her constantly. The Jets may work, I didn’t get that far. Breakfast was overpriced and lousy. There are a dozen places, within a several minute, walk that you can get a good breakfast and coffee for a third of the price. The coffee was particularly bad. if you don’t care about any of these things, the physical beauty and the location, are stunning and I would recommend this place without hesitation! The front desk staff is awesome!

A hidden gem in PV

This property is a social media influencer's dream. It is so quirky and original. The property lives up to the pictures you see online. We had the Elecktra room which was nice, but the view of the mountains was the main attraction. Also, Grant was amazing. He gave us great recommendations for food, beach clubs, massages, etc. He helped us so much. We had breakfast in the hotel one day and it was prepared well and the breakfast room is also nice. As far as location it is closer to the club scene than the beach, but both are walkable.

We had a truly relaxing and restorative stay at this uniquely beautiful and well situated hotel.

Location is perfect--walkable to everything but still in a quiet area. Great restaurant choices by the hotel. Loved the pool and our friendly bartenders :) The hotel itself is a joy--unique and beautiful. The staff is exceptional. Our bed was soooo comfortable, I slept like a baby! Loved having the hotel cats come and go into our room--so sweet. Just felt relaxed and easy to be there.

The single biggest downside was water pressure. It was literally impossible for us to shower in our room (Cortez). I didn't have an adequate shower all week honestly. We resorted to just running the water from the tub spigot and using washcloths to clean up--forget about washing or rinsing hair. Good thing I didn't care what I looked like all week! The hotel should try to improve this situation. It would take the experience from good to great.

A little piece of pink sun

We especially loved the roof top pool and yummy morning breakfasts. I still have all of the visuals in my head of the eclectic, fantastic interior design around the hotel. The colors, the paintings, the lighting were all unique and beautiful. Great staff, we felt safe and welcomed daily.
